Appendix B For Shippers – UPDATE

Since our previous letter in June 2019, we received further clarification from the FRA and AAR.
As stated in the revised standards, beginning January 1, 2020, a shipper loading facility will be required to have an AAR tank car facility certification to perform certain routine maintenance tasks on tank cars.
